  2. Astonish: What I feel this morning as I read and laugh my way thru this story! The Girls are still sleeping. They were at a Cast/Pit party until 1 am - it's all I can do not to run upstairs and wake them ...

LOVE it, doug, thanks SOOOOOO much for the story!

  3. Oooooh! Does this mean 3D is my neighbor in the volcano's dome! Ooooweeee!

Astonish~ What bohemians feel when they realize they are not alone in a dome! NOT ALONE!

3D... my are you a busy dragon!

    Doug... yet another brilliant story!

  4. Minka, du bist zuerst. Wie schöne.

Dddragon, I'm SOOOOOOO glad you liked it.

Miz B, where you go, others follow.

  5. I love this story so much because it reminds me of my favourite sci-fi writer. The one and only Mr. Terry Pratchett!
One of his re-occuring characters is a witch called Nanny Ogg. 3D reminds me of her in thsi story.
Very well done, well written and witty to the point of a needle.
A good story for a Saturday. I missed three days, so you can expect a third comment at some point today...

  6. You're turning out an Odyssey of Doug. Or perhaps it is Doug's version of the Twelve Tasks of Hercules. What should it be called? The Dougalion? Pascoverata? I await an episode in epic verse.

  7. There's so much about this to love, including “And Granny Nox is an atheist until this very day” ... good work, D (and it really paints a fire-breathing portrait of ddd)! xoxo

  8. How cool you brought the twins into the story. A multi-tasking, demonstrative dragon; yep, that's our 3D! You're lucky she let you go. Guess you weren't exactly the fair maiden she had to cook up.

Astonish: Wait-a-minute! Cook a fair maiden...near that pink & black high heeled shoe?!

(Btw, real men don't skip and sing.)

  10. Great story, Doug! :-) You've done the Pez family proud, once again!

  11. Thanks, Monika. I can't hear from you too often.

I dunno, S. Better than the Dougateuch, anyhow. I plan to finish the real story next week but we'll see. If I stay on the volcano too long the real story will be a big anti-climax.

    Thanks, Mireille. xoxo

Sar, I'm in touch with my inner child is all. The Dragon didn't say "fair." Maybe it was a ruddy maiden.

Oh boy, Miz B, are you saying the next story should be fiction too?

Thanks, Aral, as a Deputy Pez, how could I do otherwise? Of course, the TLP story is somewhere out there.

  13. Astonish: You do it to me. You are one clever lad!

Great story. We can just count this for my story too.

You've got the twins pegged. They would SO do this if they could. There's the (sweet)evil twin and the (sweet) just-as-evil twin.

  14. Bookworm doubled over in laughter, Goa'uld is annoyed because she's depicted as a dragon, implying that she and I are related.

    I'm still laughing over it.

  15. *GASP* You mean all this is not real?!?!?

    DIOS MIO!

I am astonished, ASTONISHED I SAY!!!

  16. Thanks, Alice. I does my best. You'll be missed the next couple weeks.

Well done, Cowgirl. I'd have thought you too young to know that song.

TLP, I say there's a TLP story still out there. I noticed that one twin claimed to be the evil one and the other makes no claim at all.

That's great, Dddragon, and I'm glad bookworm liked. Tell Goa'uld she can post a response on her site and avoid further cyber-wedgies.

Miz B, it's real. I was just kidding before.

  20. Miz B, sorry for having interrupted your breathing exercizes. No more jokes.

    Thanks, Icy. Nice doggie.

Karma, Astonished isn't the half of it. I feel like a Maharaja.

  21. Yup, I pretty much agree with everyone up there. What a great story.

Next time I climb a volcano, I'll be on the lookout for the twins.

  22. Delightful story!
It made me want some fudge.

    Astonish: Befuddle doubly
