Astonish: What I feel this morning as I read and laugh my way thru this story! The Girls are still sleeping. They were at a Cast/Pit party until 1 am - it's all I can do not to run upstairs and wake them ...
I love this story so much because it reminds me of my favourite sci-fi writer. The one and only Mr. Terry Pratchett! One of his re-occuring characters is a witch called Nanny Ogg. 3D reminds me of her in thsi story. Very well done, well written and witty to the point of a needle. A good story for a Saturday. I missed three days, so you can expect a third comment at some point today...
You're turning out an Odyssey of Doug. Or perhaps it is Doug's version of the Twelve Tasks of Hercules. What should it be called? The Dougalion? Pascoverata? I await an episode in epic verse.
There's so much about this to love, including “And Granny Nox is an atheist until this very day” ... good work, D (and it really paints a fire-breathing portrait of ddd)! xoxo
How cool you brought the twins into the story. A multi-tasking, demonstrative dragon; yep, that's our 3D! You're lucky she let you go. Guess you weren't exactly the fair maiden she had to cook up.
Astonish: Wait-a-minute! Cook a fair maiden...near that pink & black high heeled shoe?!
I dunno, S. Better than the Dougateuch, anyhow. I plan to finish the real story next week but we'll see. If I stay on the volcano too long the real story will be a big anti-climax.

You've got the twins pegged. They would SO do this if they could. There's the (sweet)evil twin and the (sweet) just-as-evil twin.
Bookworm doubled over in laughter, Goa'uld is annoyed because she's depicted as a dragon, implying that she and I are related.
