Quotation

QUOTATION, n. The act of repeating erroneously the words of another. The words erroneously repeated.
Intent on making his quotation truer,
He sought the page infallible of Brewer,
Then made a solemn vow that we would be
Condemned eternally. Ah, me, ah, me!
—Stumpo Gaker

sad but true,my first thought here is Joseph Goebbels, but guess that is because of the last eight years, tell a lie(self serving quote) and repeat it until it is thought by(the uninformed,by choice) many to be a truth....Prosperity-begins in the heart(not in the wallet),then can spread to the body America.....Peace Always..............................

  8. When my brain is mired in cement, I like to turn to Mark Twain for the comfort of his quotations:

"It is my belief that nearly any invented quotation, played with confidence, stands a good chance to deceive."
    Mark Twain

  10. Nice update! I used to be obsessed with quoting people when I was a teen. It was definitely a sign of my lack of self confidence.

  21. Bear, I keep mine in my wallet.

Quoting Twain on quotation, Terry, is your new job.

TLP, "I bet you say that to all the boys"

Aral, I would see it as preturnaturally developed index and middle fingers. It's probably what made you a good shortstop.

Bear, thank you. Round numbers are my favorite.

Terry, see, and Wednesday are worth less and less. You got out at the right time.
