Rapacity

RAPACITY, n. Providence without industry. The thrift of power.

2010 Update: Amorality in the satisfaction of appetites shared with a hungry observer, such as an illimitable voracity for hyperbole.

Note: I'm not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed, but I believe Saturday's post was the 1500th on this blog.

Rapacity: Congrats on the 1500th post. I make a motion that you have all the thrift of power for that accomplishment :)

  9. Thanks, Thom. Maybe I'll pinch a penny later today.

You bet Quilly, particularly if we count the fruits of other people's labor.

I don't, Karen, but 30,000 is a safe low-ball estimate, which means I'm only 5% responsible for this site.

Yep, Jenn. It's telling you you need to pluralize.

You did, George. One of these days when I next open my template I'm going to give that song a place of honor here.

    Bow wow.

Actonbell, soak 'em up. A fine ceviche, I think they'll make.

Nope, Jim. Competing on blogs would be like comparing big toes, I think.

Hey, thanks, K! You were there when it started.

    Hotdog-OK, Ariel!
