  5. Karma, you're over my head on the hair conditioning. "Echo watching Narcissus" is really clever.

Pia, I get stuck on bad hair days, too. Don't think I'll be having them much longer, though.

  10. Icy, I thought that was editorial.

Weirsdo, she's making a pun on Bierce's definition. Took me a minute, too.

    Gabriel, Tourette's or good information.

a4g. You're probably right. If you didn't see it, look at Bierce's definition of Patriotism. He did to Samuel Johnson what you just did to me.

  11. ...And seeing people claw and reach for those fifteen minutes is really, really, really something to see.
Tossed out American Idols in tears.
Bachelors and Bachelorettes dumped and in tears.
Get a life, people! I don't watch these shows, but I have on occasion tuned in.
Give me a reputable show like Seinfeld!

Jamie Dawn, I think we'll be left with reruns soon.

  15. Doug - good definition (as are the above). Sorry I couldn't come up with anything this time, my brain's not cooperating. It keeps insisting I let it rest.

  16. a4g, beautiful.

Sar, not to fear. I don't expect much while you're in New Jersey.

  17. a4g, regarding your comment on Patriotism, I was young then and filled with hope. Thank you.

A reproof applied to those who don't conform with popular prejudices and don't offer the money men the prospect of reasonable return.
