  1. 30,000 feet above, huh? You must be on cloud 9 with last night's win sending your Sox to the World Series. As well you should -- congrats, Doug! :)

  7. Rural: One of the words my Hubby gets tripped up trying to say. He had an Elmer Fudd speech problem as a kid, and it tends to show up now and then on words like rural, railroad tracks, etc. Our kids crucify him over it, and he's a good sport about it, because it is weally funny.

  10. Thanks, Aral. I guess after posting about people's orifices no further creativity is due today.

Jamie Dawn, my dad has trouble with L. We were hiking with my dogs Saturday and Walela was playing with a strange dog. Dad called her a "bully" which everyone heard as "boy" leading to great misunderstanding and comic effect.

    Sreekesh, a wall?

Andrew, for me it's Banjo or another word that starts with "b."

  17. Put up a parking lot, didn't they, Princess? Delighted to see you.

Rio, I've been libing in L.A. five years and still get criticized for driving like a farmer.

Gabriel, if progress ain't inconvenient nothin is.

a4g, true although someone could define ghetto the same way and its usually a lot closer. Maybe the inverse-square law is underestimated in policy-making.
