  7. TLP, my nephew, niece and their cousins are now abundant enough to do all the fighting themselves. Best wishes to you and your extraordinary family today.

    It does, Hobbes. Merry Christmas.

Mele Kalikimaka, Thom, for the last darn time this year.

Karen, i'll let Santa know you're so agreeable. Merry Christmas.

    Thanks, Pia. Same to you.

Your indulgence is appreciated, Quilly. Merry Christmas.

You know, Ariel, the darnedest thing happened when I went to bed last night. First, the ghost of Ambrose Bierce appeared to me in chains of syntax...

    Battles. Revenge. Graves. Victim.

These seem overly harsh words for this post.

  11. Yes, Anon, harsh.

Hope yours was a good one, Doug. And may the new year be better than the one preceding it.

  12. My last uncle is less than a year older than me. I haven't seen him since we were in Oregon in 1985. He is almost as good as I am and for sure has done nothing wrong that needs forgiving. Sorry, perhaps I should forgive one of yours.
    ..
Sorry I didn't get here in time to wish you a merry Christmas, I do hope you had one.
I will wish ahead of time,
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
