A fellow was convicted of possession and sent to the House, where, after a few days of detox and indoct, he was sent to the shop and assigned the machine that puts the bolt holes in the license plates. Anytime thereafter that someone asked what he was doing, he would answer, "Drillpressed for time."
In case anyone's wondering - Quilly's away and I'm working on ways of avoiding going in to work.
Um, right : a string of words indicating bedazzledness. Much observed in general head scratching or heard in the intonation of a beautiful girl looking at something that had just asked her out.
If only nobody tried to explain when they do somehting they shouldn't have, or do not do something they should have, but only said, "Um, right." Courtrooms could be used as poker saloons!
Whatutalkin'bout? That is not your Dad reading the story. You can't fool all the people all the time.
Good job with reading and writing. (Of course, you lose a grade point for lateness. But, then I'm adding a point back in for honesty on the two-year time problem. Like any of us would know.)
Thanks for the points, TLP and I accept the deduction. Some are great copy-and-pasters and others have cutting-and-pasting thrust upon them.
Actonbell, did you go? I always loved the idea of the renaissance faire but haven't been to one since my parents took me when I was a kid and got sick.
I wouldn't have noticed the two-year time problem either because I was distracted by Amoeba's comment. I'd never heard of Skil drills before. I'll bet Dietrich already knew they make saws, routers and sanders, too.

Karen, Dietrich is more of a Hilti guy.
