Defraud
DEFRAUD, v.t. To impart instruction and experience to the confiding. 2007 Update: To accompany in error, folly and transgression while sober. To purr.

with regards to this word? uh... i'm sure something acceptable will come to me in a minute. that said, for a small fee, i'll conjure up something brilliant.
Everytime I hear (read) a word with "de" in front of it I can't help but hear the voice of the relatively late Herve Villechaize saying "de-plane, de-plane." It's a Pavlovian thing I guess. Usually the retort is restricted to the confines of my head but once in a while, to my horror, I actually add voice to the impulse...Herve's voice, or my best impression, which always proves quite embarrassing...especially in business meetings.
Mutha, Im so glad your aunt didn't live to see you use that expression. I bet she'd have veiled you.

defraud to not cheat or swindle. To deal honestly with one's suckers -- ahem, customers.
