Defame

DEFAME, v.t. To lie about another. To tell the truth about another.

2010 Update: To martyr without slaying, a shameful waste of piety.

And happy birthday to Eamon!

De fame! De fame! We have new martyrs who will be finding room in the history books today right along with the traitors who will rest there beside them.

Happy Birthday to the great photographer who runs the hazard as a younger brother day after day!

Happiest of days to Eamon.

Defame: Fame is such a horrible burden, that it seems that taking fame away from a person would be doing them a favor. However, the actual removal of said fame does seem to wound.

verifier: hailinat -- but of course.

Happy Birthday, Eamon! Three-years-old today!

p.s. defame: George Armstrong Custer (December 5, 1839 – June 25, 1876) was a United States Army officer and cavalry commander in the American Civil War and the Indian Wars. Today he is most remembered for a disastrous military engagement known as the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Raised in Michigan and Ohio, Custer was admitted to West Point in 1858, where he graduated last in his class. -- So sayeth The Great Wikipedia, of course.

What?! Eamon is having yet another birthday? What a greedy child. I suppose you'll be having another birthday soon yourself!

Defame -- the denouement of a "has been".

Jim, that might be the prettiest paragraph you've left here. Thank you.

Haha, Poobah,

Thank you Ariel. I hope is nearest kin can understand him the way you do.

TLP, it leaves a God-sized hole in the mirror.

Karen, Custer sort of set the tone for the buckeyes to come.

Very much so, Nessa.

Actonbell, I have to think this is why people run for office.

Haha, Cooper. That would be an impoverishment.

Quilly, Eamon eats birthdays like cake.
