I am in shock that there is a word for :)
Even more in shock that you used it in a sentence Doug...

it took me time to learn how to shave with a bayonet but I cannot picture my mornings without it anymore!

Bayonet is a hair net that you wear in Na'leans when y'all is acatchin' cray fish.

(Icy is the only one who actually knew what it is.)

bayonet, the ham of all sliced conversation

Mutha said...

Ooooooh Puppy! Your wit wounds me!

"insert to injury" - haha! And Ariel, they make em tough where you come from!

Bayonet: a soldier's version of an exclamation mark.

You'll have to give me a little more notice to come up with something better - say a week. So many good offerings here.

bayonet: a battle's exclamation mark! - might be a little better...

Geez, Minka. I turn my back one time...

Haha, Poobah. Used in the burger wars.

Mutha, I know. I really had to think about this one.

Quilly, the salt air has you goofy. Here's to sea air.

Nessa, I love it.

Karma, I have a thick hide and pathetic eyes. I'll be ok.

And a unicorn with a bayonet is a goat, Ice?

Ariel, that's funny. I hope.

TLP, does a bear fish in the bayou?

Sharp, Puppy.

Minka, I'm baffled. The ham...?

Mutha, wait'll you hear what she smears the blade with.

G, that's just fine. Nothing wrong with a visual pun now and again.

Bayonet: an instrument used for many purposes in Bayonne NJ

OK it's stupid, but I always wanted to say it

Like your definition. I'm not up to emoticons other than :)

I was kind of laughing about the "emoticon" thing, but I think I have myself under control now.

You are too hip Dawg.

Bayonet: Gives Boom shak-a-laka a whole new meaning.

I know, I'm sorry. If I think of something better in my sleep I promise to come back.

Skillfully emoted, Actonbell.

Kyah, are you calling us vampires?

Pia, I can't remember it but Bierce has a quote about killing people from New Jersey. I'm sure he meant to include Bayonne.

Cooper, I'm as cool as cucumber soup.

JJ, maybe Bru will let you accompany?

Morgan, the third definition is especially sharp.

That's just good band management, Cheesemeister.

Doug, but here we can't see the air.

I took a moment to look over some of the words I'd missed whilst I was away. I approve of all of them except for the word blubber. I take offense to that word because I am carrying too much of it on my person at the moment.

It's good to be blogging again!! :-)
