Dietrick spoke! He spoke!!!!! I hope the gates of hell do not prevail over what is being built upon/by Vater Karl. He's my kind of preacher! I'm beginning to fear for his life. Jeremiah surely had a very good reason to pocket that money. I'm off to the airport soon to pick up my parents. I get deposed on Monday, and they get deposed on Wed. Oh joy! Our lawsuit is a joint one against the developer from whom we both bought houses. What a saga!!!! Our saga is not NEARLY as enjoyable as your weekend episodes. Ours will be resolved soon, and I shall share details aloud in Blogdom.
Thanks, Amoeba. In my schwachdeutsch, "false key" would be "Falsch Schlüßel" so probably not, but maybe Minka or Nicole can help since they actually speak German. Generally speaking, there's little intentional significance to the names of characters in the first four parts because other than Frau Braun and Vater Karl, I didn't really have any particular notion of personality or purpose. All of that said, it would have been clever of me to give the gay misfit a name with that meaning.
I can't believe I didn't comment here! I listen to this and then I read it twice! I loved the final scene. It makes me chuckle everytime I think of it.
