Basso-relievo: The feeling that comes when you are moved to the soprano section.

LOL TLP!

Sounds like a music instrument to me. Or like cursing. One must love Italian for that.

TLP, I will take your word for it. I do not know any sick vulgarians. I can not imagine how they would feel when moved to the soprano section.

BASSO-RELIEVO, n - So that's what Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are doing huh? LOL

LOL :) THOM :) LOL (proper noun) - Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are certainly not doing "A sculpture flat enough to be used on a memorial." Speaker Nancy Pelosi may lose control of the House of Representatives to House Minority Leader John Boehner. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid may lose the Nevada senate race to Sharron Angle.

Basso-Relievo, n. -- contrary to popular belief, this is not a visual art form. It is an audio experience I enjoy every evening about 8 p.m. when the kid down the street stops torturing his trombone.

Last Sunday, Amoeba practiced his trumpet about 2 in the afternoon without his mute. The doorbell rang. I opened it and found a delegation of neighborhood kids. They said, "That sounds good, what it it?" Amoeba went outside, played the horn for them and explained how it works. They were in awe. It seems they didn't know such things actually made pleasing sounds.

I can only laugh at the above comments. Well done, lads and lassies. OP especially as I hear the wee one behind the door down the hall.

Whatever it is, it sounds like a money maker to me.

Now it's my turn to laugh at the above comments. Whatever it is, it's predictably boring.

TLP, I'll have to take your word for it, at least until the next good kick, which I think would be basso doloroso.

Ariel, bocca di volpe!

Less vulgar and more sick, Karen?

Poobah, I thought that was "thank you for the beans!"

Thom, the world is your inkblot.

Karen, that's why it helps to have a journalist around- to read us the newspaper.

Quilly, brass instruments are useful for good or evil aren't they?

Spa Vrelli, Actonbella!

S'kraut, is Poobah one of your children?

Cooper, you bring the chisel, I'll bring the stone.

That'll happen when you have a corporate job, I imagine, Karma. Thanks for taking time away to say hello. It's always good to hear from you.
