Realism

Realism, n. The art of depicting nature as it is seen by toads. The charm suffusing a landscape painted by a mole, or a story written by a measuring worm.

Karma, I see it too when I look at his paintings or a horse.

Icy, brilliant! You got me chasing my tail.

Nice follow up, TLP.

Jamie Dawn, it looks pretty close to me.

Lula, FANTASTIC!! So glad you showed up.

Indie, probably more of a disappointment, right?

TLP, I agree. *genuflects toward Lula arm-in-arm with TLP*

Sreekesh, remember the bleach.

Thank you, Soapy. I'll see if I can find a copy.

Sar! This isn't real?!?!?!? Just when I was getting smart and good looking. Darnit!

Masil, it was practically written for you, wasn't it? Thanks.

Gabriel, I may put your second definition on my desk.

realism,n. a world bereft of delusive thought.

but then again your realism may not be my realism

Doug The Una said...

By golly you Pezes are a cultured bunch. Healing dead artists seems to be a family mission.

Bereft is the right word, Alice. By the way, do you mind toning down the racy content a notch?

Cooper said...

You wish. ;)
If only you weren't a dog.

Woof.

Ariel the Thief said...

lol, you see, Alice is grasping it. I meant realism is the definition of our confession that we know that our comprehension of the world tells little of the world itself and more of our own senses. that is, we swear there's a colour like red, bees swear there isn't. however, we assume there SHOULD be a reality somewhere over us.

sorry, it's difficult to me to say anything more difficult than "come here", "go there", "good puppy" in English. :)

Doug The Una said...

I usually lose arguments with bees. OK. No red.
