Oh! Be careful saying "will" to us elderly dogs or humans.

My attorneys, the venerable firm of White, Lipt & Trembley, say that your service is free, therefore we are subject to your whims and have no recourse when you do not post in a manner we consider timely.

I fired them.

Now look what you've done, Dawg. My gal's done run off with the Tappet Brothers.

On this part of the world that means to start the Sunday with Shahrazade, yay!

So what are you doing? Is some nefarious behavior involved? And you do too have an attorney. xoxo

If proper legal representation were a litmus test for litigation, our halls of justice would be near vacant.

Thank you all for your patience, as applicable.

Icy, that's a good testament.

Actonbell, I was later.

Quilly, I bet if you showed them your ruler you even got the retainer back. Cowards!

Amoeba, Klick and Klack will take good car of your car. Oh, wait...

Thanks, Ariel. And happy Sunday.

Mireille, my sister would leave me on death row while she protects Walmart from wild geese.

Actonbell, tomorrow will be Monday on Sunday.

Mule, I feared as much.

um ... first? Or is that last, as in "it's still Saturday here on the weary end of the date line".

Sinbad was right. Allah did provide. He provided the Shah & Co.

Now, about those pirates. If that river ferry's no more seaworthy than the crate called "TheBoat" around here - designed to sail flat waters, which Honolulu's definitely are not, then Our Heroes are going to require some real divine intervention. Where's that botanist ...? ;)

i can't imagine why you were late with this week's edition. that said, considering i've yet to read and/or leave a comment on last week's edition, it's all good.

nothing like a hectic schedule and/or no sleep and/or helping to cover someone else's mindless mistakes to keep one from completing his appointed task, eh Dawg? ; )

Those fairies, huh?!

I loved the idea of practical religion versus pious belief displayed in Sharyar and Sinbad.

I'll take a blend of both, the fairy (you gotta have a fairy!)and two mountain trolls and then even I'd travel to any civilization near and far in search of...a blog that posts on time.

Allah provides patience to those who wait quietly. (That's me all over: quietly patient.)

Allah sends houseguests to those who have relatives and that means we can't check the Saturday post on time.

Good advancement of the story line. I have but one complaint: too short sonny boy. Get crackin' on next Saturday.

Amoeba, I remember your post about "The Boat." They don't build 'em like they used to.

Neva, not to mention waking up late with a full schedule and an empty skull.

Minka, I don't notice your name among those on Saturday looking for a post.

TLP, that's the demerol. We give all our patients demerol.

It's a good day when you are found by a well-stocked ferry.

I imagine the king was getting rather antsy for another story...

Oh, pirates!!

This is a swashbuckler of a tale for sure!

We're off to the airport now.
Courty & I will be in CA this evening!!
Hooray!!!!
Next trip, I hope to be in southern CA and meet up with you again.
I'll stop by here from my dad's office computer to see what interesting words are up this week.

At this rate, by the time the King gets to where he was going he'll forget why he went, the singing Beetles will have disbanded and his future mother-in-law will have died. (Well, all his luck can't be bad.

Ariel the Thief said...

Geez, Quilly, I have completely forgotten about the singing beetles already. Good thing one of us is still listening. :-)

Minka said...

Doug...any excuse to be cheeky with or without cause. I am sure you are familiar with the concept!

Anonymous said...

But Ariel, I wasn't. I had to ask OC, "Where was the King going again and why?" So, OC is paying attention ...

TLP said...

The real question is, by the time the King gets married will he be too old to be up to the task at hand?

tsduff said...

tlp: the task at hand being.... warm milk before bedtime? HA HA HA HA

Anonymous said...

hahaha to TLP & Terry. no fool like an old and/or unmarried fool. that said, never heard of any fool too old to tend to... "the task at hand" (ba-dum-bum)

loved today's installment -- here's hoping the pirates are less destructive than that ferry (and/or fairy) ; )

and Quilly? hahahahaha to your earlier comment, too! that was brilliant... not to mention flat out hilarous!

TLP said...

Allah is still handing out patience? But not to me.

faxiokm: fax it to me.

Doug The Una said...

Right, Terry. It's tough being cut off.

Bueno viaje, Jota De! I look forward to our next In n' Out burger whenever it's cooked.

Actonbell, living online means never having to be lost.

Quilly, it's a long march, true.

Ariel, I'm surprised you can't hear them.

Minka, I've heard tell.

Quilly, I'm glad someone is. Do you mind asking OC how this all ends?

TLP, what task is that?

Oh, thanks Terry. You're never too old for warm milk before bedtime.

Neva, the urge to help is overpowering, isn't it?

TLP, when Allah was handing out patience you thought he said "latents" and fled the seen of the crime.

Cooper said...

Damn, OC and Quilly take all my comments. I should never have encouraged them to move to that enchanted, but pricey paradise.

I'm waiting for Sharyar to get mideval on Sinbad's lazy a$$!
