One of the principal rites of this site is that of being first. Today, I appear to be in the right of this rite. Unless someone's snuck in whiile I'm typing this and has left me out.
Rite: celebrating or recognizing various life transitions such as puberty - I'd tell you what the hick ceremony for boys entering adulthood entails, but then I'd have to kill you. The girls' ceremony consists of signing a pledge dedicating one's self to staying barefoot and pregnant.
