The Reformation of Wolfshausen
Teil Neun-und-Dreizig
To hear Vater Steve read this week's episode, get conked on the head with knowledge by clicking the tapestry.
To read this week's episode, try the campfire sermon.
Wonderful writing. My favorite line is "They sell treasure chests and tin soldiers to the Archbishop of Mainz and diapers to the priests in Zurich." This inspite of the fact that all the prose is so good. Deep down I'm very shallow, huh?
TLP, this was Andy/Jenna/Enrique's birthday party Thursday. This week's reader is walking away from Jake's exhortation to return the American people, at long last, to pure bloodlines and traditional values. If you look close, Jenna's son, Stevie, can be seen burning copies of Native Son and The White Album.
I look forward to reading and listening to this chapter tomorrow.
I'm impressed that Stevie has read the Native Son. I'm impressed that Stevie has listened to the White Album. He is done with both and is throwing them into the bonfire.
I've decided not to tell her, Doug. She really likes you, and, well, this little slip could change everything.
(BTW, she saw Sir Paul for the second time recently. I still have saved on my cell and land phones her message about being within 10 feet of him and his waving to her. The excitement in her voice is amazing and sweet. I swear that guy could make her go straight. She really should not risk seeing him again.)

Oh, oh, oh, OMG! I can be first! Unless I read and listen first...what to do, what to do...

I love your Dad's voice.
Whose campfire is that?

LOL! Well, not about the White Album. I may have to tell Lara about that.
Continues to intrigue. I'll catch the verbal presentation tomorrow. I wanted to be early this weekend. ;)
Those folks do love the drink, don't they.
yeah, it is always nice to hear your dad's voice...and he did a great job, particularly in speaking the deep voice of the giant :)
My favouruite line:"That was when I realized that for the first time, the heretics are now
less pious than the devout."
i am very impressed you know that history of Germany so well...even the name of Jan Huss! Just impressive.
I look forward to reading and listening to this chapter tomorrow.

TLP, if you tell Lara, please remind her that as a Unitarian minister, she is only supposed to resent the sins of corporations.
They do Coop, and just so you know, when I saw your comment come in my first thought was "Hey, she's early this weekend."
Minka, we used to hear in Church about Jan Huss to explain why Lutheran Churches use a swan as a symbol. And thanks!
Karen, in his way, he is a very zen kid.

Thanks, TLP. Discretion is the better part of pop.
Love the reading, Doug's Vater. The voices were great.
Doug, what does a truncated centurion look like?
And Austria will always be first.
Worship -- Mrs. Jim worships the ground where I am standing.
..
Love it!
Thou art the man.
