Trotted past a lonesome snail,
"Whither thou?" the weasel asked
"To Rome, Modesto or Damascus?"
"I keep an atlas in my shell,"
The snail replied after a spell
"And every place I roam and wander,
Is annotated 'just up yonder.'"
"And does it tell, by signs or words,
The whereabouts of nesting birds?"
"No, let me make the caption clear
Each page announces 'leaves be here'."
"What waste of good cartography
To omit the sites that interest me!"
"My map of foliage, I find fine,
And copied once upon a vine."
The weasel darted on ahead,
To see where the forest trail led
While the snail, of his terrain assured,
Sauntered right up to a waiting bird.

There is a roadmap in my condo. It runs along the baseboard heater pipes. It's highly busy too. Rush hour seems to be all the time.
Look for away to demolish said roadmap.
What? I'm first? Good grief.

Soon, there will be no one who can read a roadmap the way there are few how can tell time on a faced clock.

Nessa, it is funny with clocks, I can see the time on a digital one, and I undertsand it well, but then I have to go and take a look to a faced clock to REALLY know. :)

ROADMAP: The keys on my computer keyboard. If only thy fingers would cooperate ALL the time
I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail.
My roads can't read so we don't get them any roadmaps.
Yahoo Maps, Google Maps, and GPS take care of our mapping around here.
..
Nessa, if those clocks have good old fashioned American King James numbers I can read them but when those foreign Roman Numers show up I forget which one is which.
Maybe they could do like our car's speedometer, have both (car is English and Metric).
..
Jenn, it happens. Like mice.
Haha, Ariel. I like to travel by encyclopedia, too.
Nessa, I'm glad you're blazing the trail to your latest post every day. Not even Quilly goes as far.
Ariel, that's funny. I understand, too. We are analog people in an analogous world.
By golly, Amoeba. I wish I could vote you a raise.
Bear, let me know when you get there. Train pulls in at 4:20, I think.
Almost there, Karen.
Thom, a lot of us have that problem. I'd give up a finger for a more precise brain.
If I only could, TLP, I surely would as well.
Haha, Jim. "King James numbers."
ROADMAP directions designed to confuse me more than I already am.
Roadmap,n. Collectors Item.
Poor snail. Hope that bird wasn't too hungry.
Actonbell, just up yonder will do for running.
Quilly, why do people think they help?
True, Cooper, along with a newspaper and memory.
Sauerkraut, there's a sympathetic angle. Will it help you sleep if I say the snail watches Rush?
