Shahrazade's Wedding, Part XX

"The Beowulf of Wedding Planning" -Actonbell

Listen to the story in ruined Cyrenaica.

The Prattler is having formatting issues. That was fun, though, right?

Or, read the story among the Berbers.

TLP, first suits you although the competition's light today.

Actonbell, if only I knew a thing about clothes. Remember the guards were sent back for the various colored silks and, um, picture the dresses from Cana in those colors and we're there.

Never underestimate the power of a wink.
Especially the wink of a beautiful, well perfumed woman.

It's good to know that Leili has her dress. It was quite an ordeal to get it. Taylor came through! Or was it the tailor that came through for her?

:-)

Awed, the guards stood as
the princess rescued herself
with her wits and a wink.

Um, any idea what that perfume was? Or where it can be purchased? xoxo

JD, would you wear a dress your son made?

Quill, A thousand words
Have already brought us peace
None written as haiku.

Mireille, is there a Persepolis? It might be that.

I'm better than good, Mireille. I'm lucky.

Doug, I am confused.
Wasn't my haiku wanted?
You did ask for it.

Quilly, well you know
That the art of the Haiku
Nettles Erato.

Sounds like the dress for my wedding :) Loved this episode - I too wish there were pictures of the dress.

It boggles the mind.
Erato, weaver of love,
And The Dawg equate?

Divine as always.
Your research skills, and or imagination, surpass mine, as does your storytelling of course.

Doug The Una said...

g, your guess is as good as mine. Bill Blass I ain't, whoever that is.

Quilly, consider
Eros is the Greek God of love
Erato, just a muse.

Nonsense, Cooper. Pretty sure I didn't win by research.

Erato named for Eros,
Wove the strands of lover's lives,
Until a sister snipped.

That Kassim needs to get "in touch" with a few more women. maybe you could show him Tuesday's word ;)

Bugger, I can't hear you read this story. Part of the fun goes away.

I believe the final episode is coming up next Saturday? Well, everything has its season I guess.
