Medicine
Medicine, n. A stone flung down the Bowery to kill a dog in Broadway.
Medicine has its office, it does its share and does it well; but without hope back of it, its forces are crippled and only the physician's verdict can create that hope when the facts refuse to create it. - Mark Twain

if i could get something hard those white coats might be worth all the grief but most likely not

A substance to entertain the patient while nature takes its course.
