Noise
NOISE, n. A stench in the ear. Undomesticated music. The chief product and authenticating sign of civilization.
When neighbors are noisy, it is irritating. When they are nosey, it is irritating. When they are noisy and nosey, they must be eliminated. I know a guy who knows a guy.
The other day we had power failure, all the televisions, washing machines, ventilators, computers, drills and transformers of the street shut up, suddenly there was a silence like what they write about in the Bible. Who knew?
