Nessa and OP stole my effin' thunder!
I LOVE yesterday's word! I am a big fan of eating.
When it comes to eating good food, I am efferous.
:-)

Both you and Bierce are hilarious. Efferous brings out the sly humor of the sometimes erudite

Undomesticated phonemes unfamiliar with sounding cultivated:

uneducated, uninformed, unthinking, unschooled, unlettered, untaught

The hardest part for making the Lammy blog is getting the phonemes to work properly.

EFFEROUS, adj.
Males with empty bellies and women with nothing better to do than belittle others.

Or perhaps the travelers who missed the airport shuttle, paid big time for a taxi ride to SeaTac, and then endured an over-packed flight, a delayed transfer, a screaming match between the pilot and ground crew -- all in a sleepless 20 hour time frame.

Hey Actonbell,

I meant to tell you, I really enjoyed reading your Fly Away blog. A cruise is a wonderful way to spend the Christmas holiday! I used to live in Charleston. Your pictures beautifully capture the city's ambiance. I've haven't been to Key West yet. We used to have a Sloppy Joe's here, but it closed down. The Hemingway theme didn't really catch on.

Sorry you didn't get to go to Coco Cay.

Oh. Devil's Dictionary, makes me spitting mad, efferous. :(
..
Mrs. Jim and I want to visit Key West. We drove half way down the Keys one time but we turned around and came back. That's a long boring road. It all reminds me of the El Paso desert area with more water.
