The Reformation of Wolfshausen

Teil Vierundsechzig
To hear TLP and Actonbell read this episode grandly, come in to the kitchen with Gretchen and Frau Braun.

Or, you can read this week's episode with the Elf King's suffering child at left.
The story so far is here.

Excellent writing Doug. You really are talented. The reading wasn't as bad as I remembered.

Excellent reading TLP and Actonbell. I love hearing people you only usually get to read.

Lovely story Doug. That Vater Karl is a good kind of priest. And not easily tempted.

I just started to read the Elf King's child, but I'm confused by this part:

"Dietmärchen, who had tunneled under the broken fence ... to Frau Braun who oinked."

Who oinked? Dietmärchen or Frau Braun?

TLP said...

@Karen, when I was reading it, I took it to be the Frau who oinked.

Thanks, Actonbell. I really enjoyed your and TLP's reading. You're a great Gretchen and TLP does Frau Braun properly.

Thanks, Nessa. I agree that the recording was a treat.

Karen, Frau Braun oinked. It's supposed to be funny.

Correct, TLP.

It was funny Doug. (And fun too. I thought about oinking on the reading, and I'm good at it.)

Of course I do the Frau properly. I am the Frau ...or close enough.

TLP, I was kind of hoping you would and should have said so. I wouldn't want you to feel undignified.

What about this part "writing sanskrit proverbs in the dirt as he went" ???

I don't believe for one minute that Heinrich could write "Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision" with just "streams of water coursing off of his sweater and trousers" !!!

Well done, mama and sis! It's so cute how TLP sounds so southern in this recording!

Karen, this was an age before Wikipedia.

Isn't it, Lila? My step-father never sounds quite as fresh from Argentina as when he records one of these.
