Wow, Doug, every once in a while you wake up as a genius thinker. Good morning!

You look Mahhhvellous, Doug.

And how do you know who my favorite trollop is? I have so many favorites... ;-P

AP3 stole my comment! Great minds and all that. "All that" being watching SNL together back in the day.

You do look Mahhhvellous, and remember: it is better to look good than to feel good.

ahhhh... i agree with Ariel, AP3 and TLP, s'wonderful to find such a nice word here, today. and i, too, think your definition s'awful nice -- truth be told, s'exactly what i like to see on a bright Monday morning. s'marvellous, indeed.

and thanks George & Ira (Gershwin), for preventing me to think of anything but your silly song whenever i see that word. ; )

Doug you're marvelous pimping me out.

Now to find an avatar. That would be equally marvelous as you.

And...am I the only one who doesn't spell it with two "L"s? Ah well. I'm still marvellous/marvelous.

Well, good morning to you, Ariel! Some mornings just glow. Those need shadows.

Sis, collectively we have one favorite trollop. Individually, we may have several, being trollops ourselves.

TLP, I prefer to look and feel grumpy but thank you.

Neva, you can do worse than a Gershwin earworm.

Jenn, I think Ambrose Bierce was the last person to use to "l"s. I like the glittering lips.

Marvellous: All I can think of is a short cartoon that was on Sesame Street when I was little about Mmmmmmmmarvellous Mmmmmmmmartha.

Jesus Doug -- your definition makes me feel like Little Mary Sunshine -- and THAT, my friend, is a stretch even on a day that is NOT a Monday.

Suddenly I feel like having Breakfast at Tiffany's.

*scratches own head and ponders own silliness* I seem to be the only one not getting your definition and I just came back from 5 hours at university. DO you think I should get my tuition fee back and just go shopping with it? There is a marvellous selection of winter sweaters at the penis mall...I'll think about it!

Marvellous: adj. Related to or of a comic book.

Loved the 'not understood'!

Marvellous: My favorite word...sorry to hear that it is not understood...as for your update...well that is simply marvelous...add annother l if you prefer.

G said...

Marvel less and you'll get more done.

TLP said...

Wait! Minka! Did you say, "There is a marvellous selection of winter sweaters at the penis mall..." Turtle necks I assume?

Sar said...

Marvellous?? On a Monday? A sarcastic curmudgeon, I see.

And Minka made me laugh too, TLP!. I thought the penis mall was what folks are calling their spam boxes these days. And actually when you say penis mall fast, that makes sense.

-snickers at Minka and TLP-

And I'm the one who gets pointed out about being bad in comments. Hah! I am so tame in comparison to Minka & TLP. Soooooooo tame.

I am fuming because the "marvel-LESS" blogger has foiled me again, after having spent time composing my comment, posting it earlier this morning, and having it completely vanish!!

G - brilliant definition.

TLP - HA HA I had to think about that for a moment... :) I've seen that mall - in fact my Sweetie's aunt lives right across the street from it. I've actually shopped there, and yes, turtle necks!

Doug - I have no definition for todays word because I so rarely use it, but it is simply a great word for facing a Monday.

Karma, give it a good show.

Mutha, if the bonnet fits, make honey.

Quilly, remember your shades.

Minka, you might look a little funny coming out of there in a white sweater.

Precisely, J.D.

Shazam, Morgan!

Mo'a, I'm more of a one-l kind of marvelist.

G, that belongs on a successory (tm) poster.

TLP, that's 5 demerits.

Sar, it would sure explain any links clicked.

Jenn, you're so good you're bad?

That's ok, Terry. We accept anecdotes in lieu of sarcasm on a temporary basis.

Minka said...

Doug, not to worry about teh white sweater, all the other Penguins will think I am going through my defiant adolescent years :)

TLP, NICE!!! *applauds*

MARVELLOUS, n. Why I always preferred Sgt. Fury to Sgt. Rock.

Hey. I can't let Morgan be the only one around here to pay due homage to Stan Lee. Yes, puppy, he's related to Shirley. ;)

TLP said...

What? What'dIsay? Something wrong? Jeez. I didn't bring up this mahhhvellous subject, did I?

Why is everybody always pickin' on me?

mireille said...

'cause you're cute, TLP. So, issue from the poet of first name Andrew, who wrote "To His Coy Mistress" ?? A stretch, I know. But you are the most limber of all of us. xoxo

Cooper said...

Wow you can google penis mall?

Marvelous.

I should come here earlier. I'd feel better.

Doug The Una said...

Minka, what will the geese overhead think?

Actonbell, approximately!

Amoeba, those were my preferences as well.

TLP, because you're marvelous. Neva, take it away!

If I had world enough and time, Mireille, I would learn that poem. Andrew Marvell was an admirable scamp.

Cooper, see how much you can learn here?

Nessa said...

Am I still marvellous if I don't understand?

Minka said...

What's this sound?

Oh, it's teh tapping of my fingers. Never mind that it's marvellously late for new posts...

*makes little paper airplanes*

Doug The Una said...

Absolutely, Nessa. The webmaster has no clothes.

Minka, did you hear that? That's the sound of me worrying about it.
