The Reformation of Wolfshausen
Teil Vierundachtzig
To hear this week's story, come to the baptism at right.
Or, you can read this episode as Jesus enters Jerusalem.
funnel cake on the Atlantic coast, hope the garage floor going well...we had choice between wedding(Pacific coast) or funeral.Heck you only die once, some get married as often as changing socks...well rambling on,so peace and out from southern tip of new jersey........... Peace
While I was waiting for your story, I got to see Delaware today for the first time! Woo hoo. Almost more fun than a pig and his boy. Tomorrow won't be such fun though.
"The Marburg Colloquy was a meeting at Marburg Castle, Marburg, Hesse, Germany which attempted to solve a dispute between Martin Luther and Huldrych Zwingli over the Real Presence of Christ in the Lord's Supper ... Philipp's primary motivation for this conference was political."
A creative backdrop for another chapter in weekend storytelling. I trust Vater Johann will not be too argumentative.
Yes Doug, Ibid. I assumed the asterisk at the top of the page referred to the last paragraph of Teil Dreiundachtzig:
"*When I last visited Marburg’s museum, I left with the impression that the Marburg Colloquy, meant to be the backdrop for part 3 of this story, took place in 1527. I looked up Zwingli this morning on Wikipedia and it seems all these events should be taking place in 1529. Oh well. It’s a blog."
I looked up the Marburg Colloquy and was surprised to find that Zwingli was mentioned but Vater Johann was completely overlooked.

I'm leaving a comment because your little postie seems so sad and lonely.
Pitiful is more like it Nessa.

Kind of pathetic, maybe Nessa.
Or that, TLP. A hundred pardons.Don't you have a post to get up your own self?
Bear, sounds like paradise except for the East coast part.
Congratulations, Terry. That's one of my remaining ten.
Hey, Doug. New Jersey ain't so bad.
Vater Karl is not lonely, though. I can understand the almost Bishop's concern. That group of women can only mean trouble.
This is fun. I'm glad to see that Dietrich is at hand to help. Well, he's often kinda helpless himself of course. But I think he's a good sign.

Nessa, you'd have made a very wise man.
I think so, too, TLP.
Actonbell, I was wondering that, too. I should google medieval baby hygiene at some point and find out for sure.
Thanks, Karen. Is that from Wikipedia?

The expert on fallen women an innocent babes you are.
Karen, we should add Vater Johann to that entry, maybe.
Cooper, I haven't known a lot of actual fallen women or innocent babes, but I've spent a good deal of time imagining each.
