Was trying to think of something clever but got stuck on conditioning on a bad hair day

Karma, you're over my head on the hair conditioning. "Echo watching Narcissus" is really clever.

Pia, I get stuck on bad hair days, too. Don't think I'll be having them much longer, though.

Karma, now I get it. I'm having a bad brain day.

2005 Update: The fifteenth minute of fame.

I would propose in that in 2005, disrepute is fame's first minute.

Icy, I thought that was editorial.

Weirsdo, she's making a pun on Bierce's definition. Took me a minute, too.

Gabriel, Tourette's or good information.

a4g. You're probably right. If you didn't see it, look at Bierce's definition of Patriotism. He did to Samuel Johnson what you just did to me.

...And seeing people claw and reach for those fifteen minutes is really, really, really something to see.
Tossed out American Idols in tears.
Bachelors and Bachelorettes dumped and in tears.
Get a life, people! I don't watch these shows, but I have on occasion tuned in.
Give me a reputable show like Seinfeld!

Uh, that was Patriotism. March 5, anyhow.

Jamie Dawn, I think we'll be left with reruns soon.

Doug - good definition (as are the above). Sorry I couldn't come up with anything this time, my brain's not cooperating. It keeps insisting I let it rest.

Doug said...

a4g, beautiful.

Sar, not to fear. I don't expect much while you're in New Jersey.

Doug said...

a4g, regarding your comment on Patriotism, I was young then and filled with hope. Thank you.

Disrepute:

Two young girls after their catechism classes.
1st girl - "In my class I'm studying salvation."
2nd girl - "Well, I'm beyond redemption!"

Prying, That sure brought a chuckle. I love it.
