Destiny

Destiny, n. A tyrant's authority for crime and fool's excuse for failure.

2005 Update: Doom in high heeled shoes.

Note, I turned on that verifier thingy. I don't like it so complain if you don't either.

Btw, Doug, my shoe relates to your 2005 update today! ;)

Destiny, n., from the old fork in the road. A rendezvous with a decision. It is manifestly obvious that one alternative is chance, and the other is choice.

The X variable I'm courting

Couldn't resist!

Sar, it does, doesn't it? Doom doesn't. Maybe if I knew you better.

Karma, why is destiny always wearing that very outfit?

TLP, If destiny's a choice who picked mine?

Pia, you shouldn't resist.

Good quote, Aral. Who's that?

Icy, good dog! Nice metaphor.

You sing, J.D.

ah, Doug,

If only Doom were always so obviously shod. Sometimes She comes in flats or even in virtual footwear.

Anonymous, I think you should talk to Alice.

a4g, I love it.

Semisweet, in your case watch for birkenstocks.

Alice, I knew there was a Darwinian there. Any votes for intelligent design? Soapy?

Destiny, n. (1) The path to the future that parents try to set up for their children. (2) A proclamation made by fathers on the Dark Side of the Force, i.e. Turn to the Dark Side, Luke, it is your destiny...

It is a mistake to look too far ahead. Only one link in the chain of destiny can be handled at a time. - Winston Churchill

Wow. Pez City.

Dddragon, Destiny is the parents plan and fate their answer?

Actonbell, a fallen Unitarian is something too sad to think about.

Oh, bother, now I have to face my own verifier.

Destiny-the twin sister of Fate (and you already know how I feel about that cruel hearted heiffer). I'm also pretty sure that the word verifier is being mean. It's calling me a buttkisser or a buttczar or something.

Doug The Una said...

Masil, no verifier of mine is going to mistreat you. I'll have a talk with it. My word is "Prtnsusass"

a4g, yes. Better. I added that movie to my queue, by the way so I can find out what you were talking about. I think spammers are shepherds for the rise of the machines.

tyedyu: So I get to try with two different words today? Okay, tyedyu: vt., Command to twist oneself into knots, and color oneself.

I hope they're all that easy.

I was your destiny to add a word verification to your site.
I am not complaining.

Tan Lucy, well done!

Thanks, Jamie Dawn. You think if I leave it on a week the spammers will leave me be?

Brilliant, Weirsdo.
