One thing I love in those dramas that there are no good and bad people but lots of little people, who all try their worst/best. I've never liked Antonio, and Jeremy Iron was indeed very good, and sometimes hilarious, and I appreciated that the movie didn't try to decide who is right and who is wrong. Oh and Al Pacino... I think that guy gives you an electric shock when you touch him.

I was planning to like this episode as I delighted in hearing you make the pig talk...
Then the boys' gory fighting got ugly - too much blood before breakfast.

Wolves get a bad rap. Are you sure that the boar didn't cause the worst of the gore? I've known some mean pigs.

I always thought Shylock deserved more credit than he got for not claiming interest.
