Making amends when you're muttering under your breath about how much they don't deserve it, how much worse you've always had it, and how you're planning to stick it to them next time. Or this could just be the mood I'm in. ♥ xoxo

Oh Doug, you were ON today, pithy, witty, concise...succinct even.
I stand in awe.
Aaaaaaaaw
We've only just awaked and while we can generate admiration we can NOT generate originality.
A lovely day to you all, just off to go kick some people while they're down whilst muttering.
Ciao!

this is not a proper word, you're just making it up. or else this is a typo, you forgot the 'p' before. or else you dug deep and unearthed something that hasn't been used for 500 years. except nobody realises any of all this. so let me say it loud and clear and repair the damage:

"Look! the Emperor has no clothes on!"

:P

Reparation: Waiting for a rainy day to take the Hummer out for a spin.

Monika, you're way over my head today. Actonbell?

Raining again, Mireille?

Mutter away, Ariella and thanks.

Weirsdo, I kind of thought you'd come down that way.

Good girl, anyway, Icy.

Ha, Alice! Adding tar to a pothole, too?

Karma, I thought the room was drafty.

Dddragon, how many tax cuts do you want?

Just not the motorcycle again, OK, Sar?

Didn't the Stones do that?

reparation, n. Blogging about... ANYTHING other than sports after my Hall of Fame rant. (I alienate readers with my sports stuff)

Reparations are due to all of us. Everyone has been mistreated directly or has ancestors that were mistreated directly at the hands of some oppressor. Therefore, I think we all should receive large sums of money to make up for it. A check for $500,000 will suffice.

As far as they remember, TLP, yes.

Not me, AP3! I'm a dedicated stalker of yours.

Jamie Dawn, you're so cheap!

Poobah, did you say "Bone?"

Because that other site is too good for anonymous comments...

awww...Willie Bear! I love to hear tales of doggies, as they are my most favorite people. Except Pitbulls. I mean, I know I'm being blatantly discriminitive here, but I REALLY don't like 'em.

and Doug, while I know it may not be in your nature, if you don't mind, please pass on a big ol' smooch to that sweet willie bear (i'm assuming he's your owner right?)

Perhaps old age is a reparation for all the sh*t we did as kids. Doug, you don't have to worry about that. You were such a good boy.

Fires in toilets don't count.

This one has generated some very interesting comments. So interesting, in fact, I can't figure them out.

I'll try again Saturday. Maybe it will all make sense then.

Doug The Una said...

Chatcat, that's funny. Two more and we're even.

AE, I'm only flinty with people. I'll pass it along.

Thank God, TLP. That was my only sin.

It seems so, Rio. And I'm honored you chose here to say it.

Nice, Gabriel.

What could be confusing Fred? It all seems so normal to me. Should I worry? About Fred of course. I know I'm fine.

Acton Bell is getting ready for our Saturday night scrabble game I see.

Hummm... Reparation: befriending someone who has been shunned their whole life by those who judge...

Doug The Una said...

Fred, just think of it as a bunch of notes passed in your classroom.

Actonbell, if they'd stuck out their tongues they'd be in business now.

I'll say you're fine, TLP. Until Actonbell and Ekim get there for scrabble, anyhow.

Dang, Day-by-day, you like that guy?

So many clever posts and I have arrived too late at this party! Lovin' Weirsdo's and Gabriel's take on the word...

And like always Doug, yours is masterful indeed...

Soooo.... fires in toilets!?! I am intrigued by your puppyhood my friend! Pray do tell!

I agree, Miz B and I done told. The link is headed your way.
