Phoenix
PHOENIX, n. The classical prototype of the modern "small hot bird."
2010 Update: A creature able to fashion itself a new life from the ashes of its old one, although maybe not in Arizona.
PHOENIX, n. One of the many non-cruciate resurrection myths attested, symbolic of the fact that, given time and circumstances, nearly any human outrage may be forgiven and forgotten. See REPUBLICAN PARTY.
*sigh* Here I am at a family reunion of my husband's family and I can't even get a story by an old friend to help me escape the madding crowd. Sad news.
Amoeba, it takes time, though. Never enough but usually some.
Pah, Thom! Go Spurs!
Of course, TLP. Enjoy the sunlight?
Quilly, that's blogger being blogger.
Karen, Quilly is a quick recoverer. Don't you fret.
TLP, I think you'll find this week's reading worth the wait, though. I had to wait for Jake to finish his baseball game before he could almost finish the reading.
By the way, all, I'm doing this on my dad's computer as mine is down for a good long spell. If I'm not catching updates on your blogs this week, you'll know why. Cheers.

PHOENIX, n. - Obviously in my pea brain - Suns
Phoenix? Wrong guess. I'm currently in Ft.Collins, CO...thinking of you of course.
The word verifier is "deadsets". The irony of that has robbed me of any wit I scraped together.
Well, Q., then you'd better snap out of it. Don't you have dress rehearsal pictures to post and an Amoeba story to tell?
Y'all, my computer is down. I hope to have the post with a special guest reader up by the end of the day.

Welcome to that, Karen.

Is Jake on a Little League Team?
p.s. Have you told Thom lately that you love him?
T-Ball, Karen. The kid's 6.
