To hear my father read, kneel before Albrecht von Brandenburg, to your right. Note there's about a minute of silence at the end of the recording. Both Dad and Albrecht require indulgences.
To read the story, stand for Philip I of Hessen.
The Prattler is back, too.
I'm loving this story!
Nice voice your dad has.
Hooray for Doug's Dad!!!!
Indulging later requires some indulgences.
I always thought that it didn't seem right to sell forgiveness. The rich could afford to be forgiven a lot more than the poor, but then maybe worse sins come with being rich. ?? I'd like to be filthy rich to test this theory.
We're heading out to visit Naomi now.
Thanks, TLP. They used to call him "Growls" at work. Just sayin'.
Hey, have fun with Naomi, JD!
Which picture is your dad and which is you?
I love that voice too...hope your dad never yelled at you in his Vater Karl voice, though. Man alive, I am shaking!
It scares me a bit that you know German history better than I do...if you start knitting socks I am gonna quit education....and start to learn about poison!
A very fine job, this part and just for your dad....
"TEIL" the vowel combination "ei" in German is pronounced like your "i" in fine...the rest was superb!;)
Icy, I'm the plump one.
Minka, if I start knitting socks I'll need a well-trained nurse.
Actonbell, this story has an open bar.
This was quite entertaining and educational as well, it also made me smile.
"And the door to the
brewhouse is always open, but maybe pretend it is not for now.”
Cooper, do you think I should hire some muppets?
