Friendless
Friendless, adj. Having no favors to bestow. Destitute of fortune. Addicted to utterance of truth and common sense.
Friendless -- despite Puppy's ire, something you will never have to worry about being. I was thinking of calling the National Guard to search for your post!
Friendless: 1. circumstance in which one can favor others with attention/time/money without fear they'll try do the same, in return. 2. one who fails to properly "suck up" in order to gain popularity and/or notoriety.
wow, I thought something else entirely when I saw the word - sadness. A life without friends is well, lets just say if I had no friends I would not be very happy. friends are what make you whole. you need more than just family.
I thought of the I Love Lucy bit that featured Lucy finding a Salvation Army type group that was called "The Friends of the Friendless," complete with a member song. she is feeling forgotten on her birthday by Rickie, Ethel and Fred so she joins them. The climax of the story happens when she storms into the nightclub with the group/band to tell Rickie off -- only to find they have planned a surprise party for her (audience roars with laughter).
No, never....even when your post is late....LOL today was the first time I was early....then I had to leave, etc., etc. Now I am back and starting to pay attention....where is everybody???...I mean the everybody that is not here. Felt I had to explain....might have made some people upset and then I would be Friendless.
Doug -- considering the implication of the comment you just left on my blog, I find it necessary to recind my above comment. With manners like that you soon will be friendless!
Mo'a, who can be mad at you? I do worry a little about all the playing with dolls. I'm sure you'd have lots of friends if you gave people a chance to get to know you.
Karen, old friend, you surprise me now and again. Just this moment, less so.
Icy, the truest definition of them all.
Not, a4g, if he drives a pick-up truck. On moving day a glistening charisma falls around me like grace.
Quilly, the only implication of that comment was that I care enough to make you laugh. Fine. Forsake me if you must.
"Karen, old friend, you surprise me now and again. Just this moment, less so."
Friendless: Therefore I am one.
That said, you can't hold a good woman down, she'll come out fightin' evvvvvvvvvery time as long as said person, who shall remain nameless, still goes by the name of preznut! :+)

Friendless: YOU, if this post didn't get up soon.

friendless: the luxury of ones own complications.
friendless: easy to become in a society that promotes many falsehoods as virtues.

Wow. Like Jodes, this word made me sad. I can't imagine being friendless. That would feel so horrible and isolated.
On the other hand, victims of "friendly fire" might wish they were friendless.
Alone, forsaken, and in bed late. It's an epicurean life, Puppy.
Thank you, Quilly. My post slept late.
Puppybrose, that second definition is the most brilliant one ever, and your hair is so shiny!
Simplicity itself, Mule. Good job.
Pia, it's true. Have you ever seen a lonesome gambler?
Jodes, I feel that way about man's best friend.
Haha, Mutha. I remember that one too.
TLP, I can't imagine you friendless, either.
Friendless: no comments - not even spam.
Oy Indie -- that hurts *sniff*
Friendless: What are we - chopped liver?
Friendless: the most unutterable state a person could find themselves in.
OR:
A person with a cold.
Friendless: What's MySpace?
Woohoo!!! My stiletto's back!
Indie, the world is a cruel word verifier.
Uh oh, be right there, Mutha.
G, it's a word in the dictionary. The loved among you can look it up.
Hahaha, Terry! It's unutterable in the tree falling in the forst sense, I guess.
Sar, that's the real 2007 update. Thanks.

Friendless is what the U.S. has become since bushie boy terrorized us.
Man without a dog, woof!

Nice save, Doug. The laugh thing worked there and here.
Who cares what I was going to say? My word verifier is crmdgondg: Curmudgeon dog!

Friendliness,
Kindly disposed towards someone, and therefore deciding not to off them so long as they don't offend youse!
Friendless and free, Bobby McGee?
Quilly, phew!
TLP, and here I thought the 15th was my holiday. Nifty!
Fair enough, Karen. And when the well is half-empty you can still go back with your pail.
Welcome, Mickey. That is gracious.
