Once
ONCE, adv. Enough.
2008 Update: n. A day whose glory predicts the glamor of Soon. In between comes Now.
Once: Once my days were drab and weary, now Doug "makes my day." Thank you Doug, please note you were the only guy (man) I chose to be on my list of five bloggers who make my day.
Once: Once I was happy and had a good wife I had enough money to last me for life
I met with a gal and we went on a spree she taught me to smoke and drink whusky
Cigareets and whuskey and wild wild women
They'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane
Cigareets and whuskey and wild wild women
They'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane" [and more verses]
That song is stuck in my head but I had to Google "Cigareets" to find the correct words. I have never sung that song in its entirety since high school days! [Actually these words are true to my life in reverse order, I have the good wife now!] ..
Jim, I remember that song and could have given you the lyrics purdy close. I didn't notice but you're right: I'm the only male on the list (I had been assuming until earlier this morning that Merle was a guy, though.) I, too, am a cyberdog.
Courtney just bought a movie called Once, and we watched it. It won an Oscar for Best Song this year. It was a cheaply made movie made by some young people from Ireland. It gave young filmmakers like Courtney something to dream about. I think the movie cost $20,000 to make which is cheap for a full length film. I have no idea why the movie is called Once, and neither does Courtney. Maybe it's short for Once Upon a Time in Ireland.
Once, and only once does the sun rise to greet our day--from there it is our responsibility to enjoy the gifts at hand--Once i was knee high to a coke bottle--Once americans had a President that could NOT tell a lie.....Peace may it happen more then ONCE...............................
Once: rhymes with dunce (which makes me think of George W. Bush).
Once 1-20-09 drifts around, we'll get to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Out with the clown and in with someone who's hopefully named neither Hillary nor John Sidney Herbert Walker McCain.

Once, the name of never in our dreams.
Once there was a prince. Now there's a frog.
Once...how all good fairy tales begin.
once, sometimes too much.
Once: Once is enough, how original!

Once upon a time, the world was sweeter than we knew,
Everything was ours – how happy we were then.
But, somehow, once upon a time never comes again.
That was "our" song -- me and someone I once knew. Once. (Not a keeper.)
number of times you got to try everything (except eating chips)
aabzut: abzolutely
In our memories, too, thief.
Pia, once there were critics. Now there's a blog.
How do they end, Jenn?
JJ, I agree.

I dunno, TLP. He sounds like a good lyricist.
Karma, that's funny.
Once I finally think of a comment, you change the word.

Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me
Or whatever the exact saying is - once bitten, twice shy. Bitter much?
Once, and only once does the sun rise to greet our day--from there it is our responsibility to enjoy the gifts at hand--Once i was knee high to a coke bottle--Once americans had a President that could NOT tell a lie.....Peace may it happen more then ONCE...............................
Icy, the word is woof.
JD, I bet that's inspiring for Courtney. I bet the title stood for "We're shootin' this scene once!"
G, fool me twice, we won't get fooled again.
That's deep, Bear. No two ways about it. Although, I bet George Washington was lying about that.
usually a time I failed to take advantage of.

"Once" upon a time, I used to have all the leisure in the world. That was then, this is now.
Once: Fantasy
Karma - all hail the mighty chip which brings us to our knees, over and over and over.
Once; adj.: the condition in which there is not nearly enough to do things twice.
)+(
Once I left a comment here ... apparently. I should have done so twice!
NOW I have the earworm again, and I didn't infect everyone with it! But I can still get YOU, Doug.
Once is never enough ...
Reminds me of a German saying:
Einmal ist keinmal - translated wordily: "If you've done something only once you haven't really done it at all."
Cooper, I think time is supposed to take advantage of you.
Sauerkraut, we'll certainly see.
Terry, too much to lose now?
Gabriel, somehow I bet you find a way.
Once there was a way (and a comment,) Quill.
Indie, und nimmer gemacht ist immer gedacht.
Indie, how many times does one have to die to do it good? :-P
