The displacement of corruption that is preamble to the corruption of the displacers.

Gabriel, my experience is more the simulation of redesigning or recreating.

Sar, that's a great quote. If he wrote it today, he'd be defining "empowerment."

Ruben, yes, but without the rigor, accuracy, scope or usefulness. I prefer it, actually.

Comfort addict, yea and lo. Note the title of my other blog, by the way. My integrity depends a lot on my incompetence these days.

Happy Sam, thanks for your thoughtful reading and comment. Next time I'll trade courtesy for courtesy.

Thanks, Helen, live long and prosper.

for better or for worse? who decides?

Sreekesh, that question shows a real lack of compassion for the reformed.

Sar's Mark Twain quote is really good. - I borrowed this one from a book so don't think I'm the smart one - He who reforms himself, has done much toward reforming others; and one reason the world is not reformed, is because each would have others make a beginning, and never thinks of himself doing it. - T.Adams - - -

compassion for the reformed? why?

Doug The Una said...

Sreekesh, because the whole political basis of reform is that you care for the reformed by supporting the reformer. Just a little bit of extra cynicism from a frustrated reformer.
