Hey Doug, thanks for the word. Just a lot of us leave legacies whether we intended to or not.

At least I can't hide and I know a few (students and others) will remember me till their deaths or near it. I hope I've changed some lives here and there along the way along with the remembrances

I resent the 'annoying of the Manx' remark. I am about 1/4 Manx and my anscestors were also--as were Karen's--banished from Scotland.
My anscestors and relatives became a part of the building of the Isle of Man [the Corkills].

Television viewers can seize their cable connection only for telephoning and surfing and do not have to purchase cable television. Thus TV viewers only have to pay their providential tariff for Internet and telephone.

Happy birthday, Pia. I like a chicken perfectly roasted, too. Enjoy the time with your house guests.

Oh, and please don't consider the above recommendation for Kabel Deutschland as spam. It was the only reference to 'providential tariff' I could find.

Poobah, you cleared my airspace with that one.

TLP, is there another kind of son?

Pia, that's a wound time will ease. I hope you had a great one.

Bear, that's what you get for not doing 70.

Jim, I wasn't disparaging the Manx. Just pointing out that being exiled from Scotland to Man only explains half of an American residency.

Karen, that's a great link. Either I or the writer of that ad are not real clear on the difference between providence and a provider.

Icy leaves you her funny-bone to chew on.

T&I, that was generous of you to leave Icy's funny-bone to Waking Ambrose. I know how much she meant to you.

I'm sure chewing on it will help the blog host redefine misanthropy for a fresh generation.
