Rabbit, rabbit

Two Rabbits

Once upon a time, there were two rabbits hoppity-hopping across a glade. "If I were quicker," the first one told the second one, "No predator would ever catch me."

"And if I had bigger teeth," answered the second one, "I would eat coyotes."

Moral: A wish is the second of half of a gift.

YEARN, v.i. To indulge the appetite for hunger.

rabbit, rabbit (two rabbits) - A temporary condition that exists before two rabbits copulate, thereby changing the conditions to:

rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, et al.

Oh my God, Joel: will you cut it out?! ;)

Rabbit rabbit.

Yearn: To have achy breakiness in your heart.

If wishes were horses, then beggers would ride.

Life is a yearny, not a destination? ; )

Rabbit, Rabbit.

and, thank you Joel for not adding "neener neener" to your happy declaration of first! *grumble grumble*

Yearn: realization that your arms are too short, your appetite's too big, and/or your pocket's too shallow.

y earn? Because if you don't, you'll go without. (Motivation, you know.)

"Dude, you look stupid."

"Same as you, dude."

"Well, whose bright idea was it to yell 'Rabbit, rabbit!' at a Harry Potter convention?"

"I never expected those damned wands to work, dude!"

"Yeah, right. And I'll bet you thought 'Tricks are for kids', too. Nowbr/>
"Yearn for a bunny hop?"

Rabbit Rabbit!

yearn: something that's bigger than the birthday candles.

Loved the parable.

I want you now
Tomorrow won't do
There's a yearning inside
And it's showing through

one time I dreamed of that song. Gore was singing it in a huge arena, a black girl and me were dancing behind. then he turned and couldn't get his eyes off us anymore, he stopped singing but the music went on. I suddenly understood when I woke up, I can dance as nicely as a baby elephant, no wonder he was shocked. I have always wished to impress him in other ways, though...

Well, well done, Joel.

Poobah, that's why I keep dogs. I have a bunny plague.

Clever definition, Minka.

TLP, that's a magnificent quote. A TLP original?

Minka, that was Biercean. To wish that last century's wisdom won't be true tomorrow?

Conejo, Conejo, amigo viejo.

Minka, why do people keep bringing up barbecue here?

Well-written, Puppybrose.

Amoeba, one must be careful with magic. It can't be reasoned with.

Me too, Nessa.

G, hope the cake is fine.

Ariel, that is a Depeche Mode anecdote from a dream?

Doug -- so, romance isn't to be tolerated and I am to be ignored? Got it.

Woof, woof, Ariel.

Rio, I guess you don't mean the aorta. It's good to hear from you, old friend.

Sorry, Quill. Y'earned better.

Sar, I've heard people say that but never actually said it.

Bunny, bunny, Karen. It's old home day.

OE, may the tails be long and the croaks quiet.

Thanks, AP3. Rabbit rabbit yourself.

Actonbell, it must be Wednesday. May the anchovies be mild.

TLP - my mother quoted that saying to me often - and my children are sick of hearing it. You are my hero :)

Doug - what a smart rabbit rabbit story today. I love your most amazing concept of your moral. Stellar first of the month post!

Mireille, nothing to fear. Just have garlic ready.

Thanks, Terry. Good to have you back.
