The Reformation of Wolfshausen
Teil Vier-und-Zwanzig
To hear this week's episode, sit over by the Lahn and hope for ducks instead of my dad.
To read this week's episode, walk the Lahn at night.
I am sure Dietrich will look smashing in his new duds, but I am not sure if Gretchen is ready to accept his proposal. I shall be held in suspense until next week's episode. When Frau Braun hears of his intentions, she will shite a brick!!
:-)
Courtney is flying into southern CA this Tuesday. Then she and Tay will be driving from CA to AR after Taylor is finished with school on Wednesday. What an adventure they will have driving cross country. I can't wait to hear from them along the way. Courtney vowed to eat a Double Double before she leaves CA. She will keep that vow, I am sure. Jason will have his house all to himself. He's probably glad about that.
Your dad did a superb job on the reading. He has a great story telling voice. I felt like I was sitting by a campfire listening to a very nice man.
I agree...DOug's dad has a very soothing voice and it is so easy to listen to him.
i will add this episode to my favourite segments...simply by your virtue of being able to hold suspense without anything much happening in the script; besides a man sitting on a tree stump, pondering of course.
This one was a segment for the eyes...so easy o picture and identify with...who hasn't pondered where drift wood will flow to and what it will see on its way...how a life fo drift wood would be like...tossed and turned by the waves of your surroundings, not steering any directions...Dietrich identified. Well done. Loved this one!!!!

Bear, you should.
Thanks, blogmama.
I love Doug's Daddy's. It is very soothing.
Doug, I adore your subtle but pointed sarcasms.

She would say what
temperature he would live at. What a nice line.
I see a shake-up on it's way though.
Thanks, Nessa. I learned acerbity from my soothing father.
That will be a great trip, J.D. THey're the perfect age to make it. Let me know when to wave at them.
I'm glad to hear it, Cooper. The writing's gone cold.
